We love hosting clients in our cosy studio to capture life's milestones. We are known for our creative maternity sessions and fine art portraits embodying femininity, fashion and style in a compelling way. We use our own hand-painted backdrops, silks for draping and couture wardrobe pieces to create one-of-a-kind works of art.
Your pregnancy is such a special time and we believe it deserves to be celebrated in the most beautiful way.

planning process
We recommend having your maternity portrait session between 26-35 weeks of pregnancy, depending on your wellbeing and bump size. We recommend contacting us as soon as you have decided, so we can check our availability and make sure we can fit you in. We will then schedule a call to discuss our way of working and some creative ideas.
Hair & Makeup
You will want to feel relaxed and taken care of on the day of the shoot, so we can include a professional hair and makeup artist for your session. Our HMUA can also stay on for the duration of the shoot for touch ups, upon request. A professional that understands studio lighting makes a big difference for the sessions, however clients can also bring their own artist to our studio, if desired.
Wardrobe & Styling
Our studio carries a selection of maternity outfits, bespoke gowns and flowing silk fabrics for draping. We will be happy to discuss the styling and wardrobe options with you once your session is reserved, as well as how to best prepare for it. Our aim is to make you feel stylish and comfortable in front of the camera, while having fun!
edit & delivery
You will receive your beautifully edited and retouched images via an online gallery. Our aim is to enhance the natural beauty of the images, but can offer options for a more extensive retouching upon request. You private online gallery is seamlessly integrated with our Print Store for easy ordering of fine art prints options and heirloom albums are also available upon request.

When is it best to book my session?
From experience, we recommend having your maternity portrait session between 26-35 weeks of pregnancy, depending on how you are feeling and your bump size. We take bookings for maternity sessions during weekdays and recommend contacting us in advance.
Where is the studio located?
Our studio is currently located in Bracknell (RG12 8FB), also serving nearby areas such as Ascot, Sunningdale, Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Bagshot, Chobham and Virginia Water. It is within a hour from London by train and conveniently located near Bracknell train and bus station, and we can arrange transport to and from the station for you, if required. By car, it is within easy reach via M4 or M3 motorways and there is plenty of on-site free visitor parking.
What is the booking process?
You can request our price list via email to hello@dcastudio.co.uk or simply fill in our contact form. We will be in touch and tell you a bit more about how we work and send a quotation via our online portal. You will be able to choose a suitable package and secure your date with the payment. We'll schedule a Zoom call before your shoot to discuss creative ideas, backdrops and outfits and help you prepare for your session, so you can relax and enjoy the day when it comes.
What does the pricing include?
Our packages include a Zoom consultation with our team to help plan and prepare for your shoot. You will enjoy a studio session with an award-winning photographer, David Christopher, who will personally guide you on the day. Our studio team will also be on hand during the session to help with outfit changes and studio setups. You will have access to our studio wardrobe and we can also include professional hair and makeup artist on the day. We will select the best images from the shoot and refine them with magazine-style image editing and custom retouching to create artistic portraits, which will be accessible via an online gallery with a built-in Print Store.
What outfits do you provide?
Our studio carries a selection of maternity outfits, bespoke gowns and flowing silk fabrics for draping. We will be happy to discuss the styling and wardrobe options with you once your session is reserved, as well as how to best prepare for it. You are welcome to bring your own outfits and we love discussing ideas during the initial Zoom call.
What is your turnaround time?
We will pick the best images for you that we will edit and retouch, however you will be able to see the images live as we shoot them on a screen in the studio. We can tell you a bit more about how we select the images on our initial Zoom call. You will be sent a private online gallery to all the high resolution images for easy downloading and sharing and it typically takes about 4 weeks for the final images to be ready.
Can we buy prints and albums?
Your personal online gallery is seamlessly connected with our Print Store so you can easily order fine art prints, frames and canvases and we would also be delighted to show you our heirloom album options upon request.
